The World of Hans Zimmer 2024 - A New Dimension

Hans Zimmer has scored music for more than 500 projects across all media genres, which together have grossed more than 28 billion dollars at the worldwide box office. Zimmer has been honored with two Academy Awards®, three Golden Globes®, four Grammys®, an American Music Award and a Tony® Award. His work highlights include Dune, No Time to Die, Gladiator, The Thin Red Line, As Good as It Gets, Rain Man, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, Thelma and Louise, The Last Samurai, 12 Years A Slave, Blade Runner 2049 (with Benjamin Wallfisch) and Dunkirk, as well as recent film scores ranging from Top Gun: Maverick, Wonder Woman 1984, Ron Howard's Hillbilly Elegy, The SpongeBob Movie to Sponge on the Run. Zimmer recently won the Academy Award® for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures for Dune. In 2019, Zimmer scored the live-action remake of The Lion King, for which he received a Grammy® nomination for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media. Zimmer has completed highly successful tour stops around the world with his HANS ZIMMER LIVE concerts. The acclaimed concert sensation, which started in 2022, continued from April to June 2023 with incredible success.

The new title "A New Dimension" already gives a hint: Hans Zimmer arranges a brand new selection from his tremendously diverse score collection for "The World of Hans Zimmer - A New Dimension". The audience is taken on a unique musical journey and immersed in completely new dimensions with the music of two-time Academy Award® winner Hans Zimmer: Powerful. Powerful. Beautiful. Dramatic. Breathtaking. Powerful. Touching. The predecessor concert tour "The World of Hans Zimmer - A Symphonic Celebration" first started in Germany in 2018 and has been on a triumphal march around the world ever since. In "The World of Hans Zimmer - A New Dimension", Hans Zimmer will not be performing live on stage himself, but will act as curator and musical director of the show. In 2024, the magic of Hans Zimmer's works will once again be conjured up for the live audience with some of the most outstanding, renowned soloists from Zimmer's talent factory and a masterful symphony orchestra. Powerful projections of film sequences also create a breathtaking atmosphere for the audience. With "The World of Hans Zimmer", the 'Hollywood Rebel' (BBC) has created a glamorous, lively, exciting live experience of a special kind. Hans Zimmer's extraordinary melodies and modern compositions captivate a huge global fan base across generations. He has already breathed life into countless international cinema blockbusters. These include "Dune", James Bond "No Time To Die", "The Lion King", "Gladiator", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "The Dark Knight" trilogy, "Interstellar", "Last Samurai" and "Top Gun: Maverick". The double album "The World of Hans Zimmer - A Symphonic Celebration" was released by Sony Classical in 2019.
