Director Burchard Dabinnus will provide insights into the interplay of Theater Apropos during an interactive, open rehearsal. The workshop is aimed inclusively at all those interested in theater.
The workshop will include excerpts, situations, character constellations and verbal set pieces from the play Freigesprochen after Ödön v. Horváth, which will be developed in group improvisations and thus provide an introduction to the world of the play and the work of Theater Apropos. There is a particular focus on the themes of the play, which can be easily transferred to current times - for example, the phenomenon of fake news and the spread of personal opinions about other people or groups and the associated tendency towards prejudice, misunderstanding and social exclusion.
The workshop provides the perfect basis for watching "Freigesprochen" afterwards - with a new perspective.
The play will be performed after the workshop, also at the LUISE cultural center, admission: 7 pm, start: 8 pm
The workshop and guest performance are part of the Munich Theater Week. You can find more information at www.theater-apropos.de and www.theaterwoche.de
