In the organizer's words:

THEM FLEURS

Since the noughties, the Fleurs have been performing with a wide variety of bands on the relevant Swiss stages. The most diverse influences come together - from punk to pop to electronic music.

BEGINNINGS. Originally, old friends wanted to play street music for two weeks. That's what happened in the summer of 2010 on the Baltic coast of Germany. Musical interplay, bus life and resonance on Nordic promenades call for more.

BACK AND SO ON. After 2 EPs, the debut is released on Subversiv Records in 2014 and is christened at the sold-out ISC Bern. Around 100 concerts followed, for example at the Gampel Open Air or as support for Frank Turner.

RUN. A self-directed album, without limits or a schedule. Released in December 2017, christened in the sold-out Gaskessel in Bern. Followed by the first Fleurs tour through Switzerland and Germany.

BURN TO HAPPEN / RIVER. 2 7-inch singles, 1 theme. Celebrated at the Spinnerei Bern (2018) and the legendary Bad Bonn in Düdingen (2019). Further appearances at SWISS LIVE TALENTS and an extensive tour through Germany and the Czech Republic.

PALP RESIDENZ / DUNES EP 2024: Invited by the PALP FESTIVAL, the Fleurs 2023 reside in Val de Bagnes and work on the EP DUNES. Recorded at the ALTERNA RECORDING STUDIOS in Basel.

SOUND. A wide variety of influences result in the unmistakable sound, somewhere between pop, rock and post-something. Although the songs are very different, a coherent overall picture remains, which the band performs live with great force.

"Guitar pop that's refined down to the last detail, but still goes far afield. RUN sounds like an album from a single mold, which can only be recorded in this way if everyone agrees on what they want to achieve with it," BERNER ZEITUNG.

"What is remarkable about Them Fleurs is that although they know the history of music, they don't sound like they belong to any particular genre, not British, not American, but entirely their own." NZZ.

"This record fits very well into this decade. Switzerland can sound so relaxed and accomplished." ART NOIR.

"Them Fleurs are unpredictable and always surprise with their experimental works." ROCKSTAR.

DANIEL HE - Debut album "Dubao"

With the single "Autopilot", Daniel He opens a new chapter - musically and biographically. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter was born in China and has been living in Germany for several years. His perspective is that of a person between cultures - and between systems.

"Autopilot" is the first herald of his debut album "Dubao", on which Daniel deals with the loss of his mother, his queer identity and the feeling of being culturally uprooted. Three years after the death of his mother, he returns to Wuhan for the first time in the summer of 2024 - the city of his childhood, which he now re-enters as a stranger.

His father picks him up from the airport in a new car. The drive is characterized by cautious small talk - the unspoken hovers heavily in the air. When his father suddenly lets go of the steering wheel and explains that the car is driving in autopilot mode, Daniel senses a deeper thought: his father also seems to be emotionally on autopilot - a protective function against the inevitable.

In "Autopilot", Daniel condenses this experience into a quiet, haunting song. Plucked guitar chords, minimalist arrangements and a fragile voice create an atmosphere that leaves room for vulnerability. The influences of Nick Drake, Elliott Smith and Joni Mitchell are palpable - and yet Daniel's music sounds unique: introspective, poetic, between East and West.

As a queer Chinese man, Daniel experiences life in Germany as freer - but not necessarily easier. He reflects the distance to his own origins and at the same time the survival of rituals, language and emotional traces. His music is a place where these contradictions are allowed to coexist.
