Thematic guided tour through the exhibition "Living Spaces - Contemporary Perspectives from NRW"

Taking different locations in North Rhine-Westphalia as a starting point, the exhibition examines key aspects of the present using the example of 14 positions. There is a strong focus on urban space, industrial structures and the many facets of society and social interaction.

The current approach to the legacies of the past is also reflected upon, with an outlook into future contexts. Included are artists from several generations based in NRW, some with biographies that point to international countries of origin. Their photographic work series, created between the 1990s and 2024, are presented in both color and black and white, including filmic works.
