Whether chattering, slinking or purring - animals are not only fascinating creatures, they also make great poems. In this double reading, two masters of subtle humor and quirky poetry come together.
Ella Carina Werner and Nils Mohl read their animal poems - sometimes whimsical, sometimes tender, sometimes laughing out loud and always with a keen eye for the outlandish in the everyday.
Ella Carina Werner brings feminist animal poems to the stage, in which the bull brings beer to the cow, the tomcat encourages the cat to clean itself and the bat wonders about its appearance. With his verses, Nils Mohl transports us to parallel zoological universes in which worms have broken hearts, alligators have hiccups and the mosquito - perhaps with luck - survives after all.
