Timm Thaler oder das verkaufte Lachen

Nobody can resist Timm Thaler's (ARVED FRIESE) laughter. It is so infectious and disarming that the wealthy Baron Lefuet (JUSTUS VON DOHNÁNYI) wants to own it at all costs. And so Lefuet offers the orphan boy an unusual deal: If Timm sells him his laugh, he will win every bet in the future. Timm signs the contract. Thanks to his new ability, the boy can now seemingly fulfill all his wishes, but without his laughter he also becomes increasingly lonely and falls more and more into the clutches of the diabolical baron. But Timm's friends Ida (JULE HERMANN) and Kreschimir (CHARLY HÜBNER) do everything they can to get his laughter back. Will they and Timm succeed in outwitting the Baron?
