Tom-Tom Discotec presents: Rare Groove Nights w/ Alex Fire Ball, Isabel Del Valle, Hermes Villena

For this event, Tom-Tom Discotec is looking to join the Soulful Shack Club evening taking place in the Stadtgarten and is curating a DJ evening that perceives "soul" as a state. You can expect an eclectic mix of Rock Steady, Lovers Rock, Brasil, Funa, Latin Grooves and other soulful tunes.

Alex Fire Ball
Deeply rooted in the Cologne scene as one of the main collectors and connoisseurs of reggae, dub, ska and rock steady. With the Fire Ball sound system, Alex had a strong influence on the Cologne scene in the late 90s and early 2000s and has influenced many DJs and collectors from Cologne.

Isabel del Valle
7, 10, 12, 33, 45, new to the roulette table, by no means inexperienced: Isabel del Valle, spins a carefully selected collection of records; between raw intimacy and danceable ease.

Hermes Villena
As a long-time resident and program director of King Georg as well as curator of Tom-Tom Discotec, Hermes serves an eclectic understanding of music ranging from jazz to house, salsa, Latin grooves as well as wave and post-punk - often characterized by a soulful twist.
