American vibraphone pioneer Tom van der Geld, professor in Mannheim and Cologne for decades, is going on tour with his Albuquerque Dreamers. The formation combines influences from country, western swing, Americana and folk and creates an unmistakable, deep sound. In addition to van der Gald, Simon Seeleuther's pedal steel, Florian Schlechtriemen's drums, Jan Dittman's bass and Heiko Duffner's guitar characterize the sound. The Dreamers combine tradition and innovation, improvise freely and turn every concert into a unique musical journey.
