TOMMY AND THE TELEBOYS

The quartet plays loud and sweaty psychedelic fuzz rock in the shadow of the prefabricated buildings of the central German province between Halle and Berlin. Guitars, driving synths, sometimes garnished with a sugar-sweet West Coast melody, sometimes with a noise crowbar.

An outstanding debut, fresh, contemporary and with a touch of retro. Independent, playful and different.

TOMMY AND THE TELEBOYS are a band that brings styles together, emulates role models and yet has its own sound and sounds different. They feed garage rock with psychedelia, try out post-punk, krautrock and electronica. An upbeat rhythm section and feverishly shimmering guitars prevent any stagnation. Danceable, groovy, wild and full of melodies. Then relaxed and floating again. They sing "Give me", but they give themselves.

The variety of styles is a free pass to let the sound fly in all possible directions. Contrary to rigid genre boundaries, everything is allowed and a wild mixture comes together.
