TOOL are returning to Europe in the first half of 2024. As part of their tour, they will also play their only concert in NRW on 18.06.2024 in Cologne's LANXESS arena.

The band from Los Angeles was already very busy before the announcement. The four band members Danny Carey, Justin Chancellor, Adam Jones and Maynard James Keenan are still touring North America until February. Over the past five months, TOOL have headlined the Aftershock, Welcome to Rockville, Louder Than Life and Sonic Temple Arts & Music festivals. They also completed a one-off performance at Power Trip, which Metal Hammer describes as "an overwhelming, thrilling show that demonstrates how unique their art is, a transcendental experience that pushes the boundaries of the genre".

The band TOOL was founded in 1990 and has released five studio albums: "Undertow" (1993), "Ænima" (1996), "Lateralus" (2001), "10,000 Days" (2006) and "Fear Inoculum" (2019). They also released two EPs, "72826" (1991) and "Opiate" (1992), as well as the limited edition box set "Salival" (2000). They have won four GRAMMY Awards to date: Best Metal Performance (1998, "Ænima"), Best Metal Performance (2002, "Schism"), Best Recording Package (2007, "10,000 Days") and Best Metal Performance (2020, "7empest"). The members of the band are Danny Carey (drums), Justin Chancellor (bass), Adam Jones (guitar) and Maynard James Keenan (vocals).

TOOL will play their NRW-exclusive concert on 18.06.2024 at the LANXESS arena in Cologne. Night Verses will perform as support on all European headline dates.
