From the series “Romanesque Churches in Kölsch.” Saint Ursula has even made it onto the city coat of arms, where she represents our city alongside the crowns of the Three Kings. Saint Gereon is regarded as a role model of loyalty and steadfastness. Between the magnificent Romanesque churches dedicated to the city’s two patron saints, we’ll discover how a monastic remedy became an export hit, why the bell at the Pütz doesn’t ring, and why heads don’t roll (anymore). And all of this told in Kölsch!
