Join us for an exciting guided tour of the diverse and colorful Tempelhofer Feld. Learn more about the eventful history of this former airport site, which has now been transformed into an open space and green oasis in the heart of the city.

Get a firsthand look at how such a large park is managed and what professional and sensitive maintenance of this vast open landscape and its biotopes entails. Learn more about the recent redesign of the entrances, sports areas, utility facilities, and tree plantings. We’ll also highlight the importance of participatory processes and civic engagement in the design, use, and preservation of Tempelhofer Feld.

With a rickshaw service!

The rickshaw service is a free and inclusive option that allows people with limited mobility to participate in our bike tours at Tempelhofer Feld. The service includes pickup by rickshaw from your home, participation in the event, and the return trip home. Pickup is available within a maximum radius of 3 km or a 20-minute drive from Tempelhofer Feld. You’ll sit in the front of the rickshaw, which can accommodate up to two people. You’ll be driven by a volunteer who steers the rickshaw. To participate in the tour, you must book a regular ticket.

Important Notes:Please bring your own bicycle and (if possible) a high-visibility vest, as well as your own binoculars. Be sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing (rain or sun protection), sturdy shoes, and bring plenty of drinks. Tempelhofer Feld is very exposed to wind and sun.
