The major themes on "out of my skin" are vulnerability, the possibilities and impossibilities of communication, connection and demarcation, and saying goodbye to everything that no longer serves the purpose of further development and overcoming oneself. It is a concession to reality without betraying one's own ideals. TRILLE has found an organic pop sound for this that is authentic and vivid and thus occupies exactly the space that the messages deserve. Whether head voice or rap, funeral march brass band or 808 bass, his songs are full of surprises.
