EESE

Cologne-based indie act EESE is a duo consisting of long-time friends Luca and Max. With their unique and experimental musical style, which skillfully interweaves elements of indie, alternative and electro, they bring a breath of fresh air to the German indie scene. In 2020, the band found their creative home on the label Papercup Records and released their much-anticipated debut album "This All Will Fade" in December 2022, which was also conceived as a joint farewell project from third member Pablo.
As modern artists, they not only master the stage, but also excel in the self-made production and mixing process, giving their music a remarkable depth and authenticity. This is also evident in their latest single releases as a duo ("Move on", "Along the way", "Solely"), in which they further cement their unique style.
More exciting releases are set to follow in summer/fall 2024. EESE continue to push their creative boundaries and cement their position as one of the most exciting indie acts in GSA.

Dim Fumes

Dim Fumes consists of singer and composer Lukas Zepf (aka No Bloom Now) and Marc Landendinger and Luca Christakopoulous (known as DJ/producer duo Thrived, with releases on Club Qu and Voitax). Together they channel Berlin's unique zeitgeist and capture the pulse of the city between rave culture and the longing for true connection. Drawing on influences from the early 2010s - such as Moderat, James Blake and Burial - as well as pioneers of deconstructed club music like Iglooghost, the trio create songs that feel equally at home on concert stages and club dancefloors. Since their formation in May, they have played over 15 shows across Germany, including appearances at festivals such as Melt, Tarmac and Kosmos.

Following the release of several singles in the summer and fall, the trio's debut album, "Liminal Clouds", will be released on December 4. The project explores themes of vulnerability and surreal nostalgia, evoking moments between dusk and dawn in a deserted urban landscape. Their songs merge hectic and stillness and embody the complex character of their hometown. 'Tides' brings 90s liquid jungle to life with ethereal vocals and uplifting energy, while 'Fountains' and 'Clear Lake' create big, theatrical yet tasteful pop moments fused with subtle dubstep elements. Dim Fumes are masters at capturing the right undertones; their music evokes a visceral déjà vu. As singer Lukas puts it: "Our songs are about finding a safe space between waking up and falling asleep."
