Tú Hoàng / Helge Letonja mit Of Curious Nature: »Skin Deep«

The skin: our first all-encompassing contact surface with the world. No life without touch. The skin: A sensory wealth that connects us with the world and brings us back to ourselves. Nothing can replace the depth of a single embrace.

And the discomfort in a touchless world is constantly growing. Isolation, frustration and loss of the world - who still feels it, the cry for embrace?

Our largest sensory organ serves the choreographers *Tú Hoàng* (Vietnam, Netherlands) and *Helge Letonja* (Germany, Austria) as a sensual basis for their choreographies with the international ensemble *Of Curious Nature*.
Two intensely physical formal languages of contemporary dance promise exciting contrasts: Tú Hoàng brings his background in traditional Vietnamese dance and martial arts into his movement language and meets Helge Letonja's emotionally multifaceted, detailed, composed movement language.

For Skin Deep, Tú Hoàng is also concerned with the Buddhist path of distancing oneself from all emotional turmoil in order to become free from suffering. Could this not be an approach to emerge from the sea of digitally fueled projections in which the world is drowning? Or, Helge Letonja asks back, should we get more under our skin so as not to lose our humanity?

All public areas of the Schwankhalle are at ground level and accessible without steps.

There are three different toilets: a barrier-free toilet that can also be used by wheelchair users, a toilet with three toilet cubicles and a toilet with urinals and a toilet cubicle.

The public area is generally seated.
The wheelchair spaces are located in the front row and can be reserved in advance by telephone (tel: 0421 520 80 70), by email (email: ticket@schwankhalle.de) or by entering them in the ticket store.

Individual requirements such as specific seats, early boarding or an additional ticket for an accompanying person can also be specified when purchasing or reserving tickets.
