There's not much more to say about TV Smith, he's been on the world's stages for almost 50 years. But he hasn't had enough yet. TV Smith's Catalan band "The Bored Teenagers" is traveling from Barcelona to Germany for a short tour in March 2027. Although TV Smith is primarily known as a solo artist these days, he still plays a small number of concerts where he is accompanied by a real band.

He first met the musicians in 2003 when bassist BB Quattro invited him to Spain for a few concerts with his punk-pop band "Suzy & Los Quattro". Under the new name "The Bored Teenagers", the band accompanied TV during the encores of several concerts; on a day off from touring, they went into the studio together and recorded the single "What If?/New Church", which was released in Spain on the "No Future" label.

As avowed fans of the "Adverts", the band then worked on the entire album "Crossing The Red Sea" and played it in full at the renowned "100 Club" in London in 2007 to celebrate TV Smith's 50th birthday. Since then, TV Smith and the band have regularly toured Europe together and played numerous gigs on the main stage at the annual Rebellion Festival in Blackpool.

In 2022 - after sweeping away a wildly enthusiastic audience in a hall filled to capacity - they spontaneously returned to a local studio and recorded the songs exactly as they had performed them on stage shortly before: no frills, no breaks, no overdubs - all the energy and excitement of the live show captured on tape in a single, grandiose take. The resulting album was released under the title "TV Smith & The Bored Teenagers Replay The Adverts" on the "Easy Action" label.

The band's repertoire now includes all the songs from the Adverts as well as many of TV Smith's later recordings; their live set has developed into a mixture of both - performed with the energy and intensity for which they are now famous.

And in March 2027, TV Smith and the Bored Teenagers will be coming to Germany for 10 days.
