"ABOUT LIFE - 40 years of Cap Anamur" - Photo exhibition by Jürgen Escher

Exhibition and vernissage on the 1st floor of the Lindenthal district town hall

Cap Anamur / Deutsche Not-Ärzte e.V. has been providing humanitarian aid worldwide for over 40 years. For almost four decades, the Herford photographer Jürgen Escher has accompanied the work of the Cologne-based aid organization. His pictures document the work of Cap Anamur in a beautiful but also authentic way. The photographer is showing an excerpt of these pictures in his exhibition "ABOUT LIFE". He provides sensitive insights into Cap Anamur's emergency aid work over the last 40 years. The exhibition shows pictures from Bangladesh, Nepal, North Korea, Somalia, Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, Haiti, the Central African Republic and Sudan.

Bernd Göken, Managing Director of Cap Anamur, will also be a guest at the exhibition opening. Together with Jürgen Escher, he will report on the projects.
