Über Leben in Kollapsen

In the organizer's words:

About life in collapse

Church and diaconia as civil society actors in the face of war, fascism and the climate endgame

Ecosystems, peace and democracy are under acute threat and it is imperative that we work to preserve them. But we can only remain capable of acting if we take an honest look.
What's happening if not everything goes well? How can churches and social welfare organizations play a role in catastrophic scenarios? How can justice and resilience be strengthened even in collapses? Where are helpful forms of coexistence and survival already emerging?
The symposium "Über Leben in Kollapsen - Kirche und Diakonie als zivilgesellschaftliche Akteurinnen angesichts von Krieg, Faschismus und Klima-Endgame" on February 5 in Cologne will provide space to approach these uncomfortable questions from different perspectives.
