He is the most frequently booked and, according to many critics and fans, the best Udo Jürgens interpreter: Alex Parker. For over 30 years and more than 1,000 performances, most recently with "The Udo Jürgens Story", the 51-year-old has brought the "Udo Jürgens feeling" to the stage. Now Parker is launching a new Udo concert tour in 2027. Around 80 guest venues are on the tour schedule from January to May and October to November 2027. Parker will be accompanied by a guest musician who has worked with Udo Jürgens personally. Together, they want to bring the special moments of Udo Jürgens' live concerts to the stage, from sensitive to euphoric, refined with personal anecdotes - and thus keep the work and influence of the exceptional artist and world star alive.

Udo Jürgens was not a "typical" star or pop singer live - his concerts had something unique, timeless, almost intimate about them. He had the ability to make even performances in huge halls seem personal. Whether arena or concert hall - he spoke directly to the audience, told stories between the songs and created a closeness that is otherwise only known from smaller concerts. Songs such as "Griechischer Wein", "Ich weiß, was ich will" or "Ich war noch niemals in New York" were given an additional dynamic on stage because he varied the tempo, expression and dramaturgy. At the end, there was often this feeling: you hadn't just heard a series of hits, you had experienced an evening with attitude, personality and real musical substance.

Alex Parker and his guests want to remind us of this special feeling. Parker plays live on the piano and interprets evergreens such as "Merci Cherie", "Ein ehrenwertes Haus", "Aber bitte mit Sahne", "Mit 66 Jahren", "Griechischer Wein", "Ich war noch niemals in New York" as well as many other hits and lesser-known titles such as "Die Schwalben fliegen hoch" and "Glut und Eis". Between the songs, he tells of his encounters with Udo Jürgens - with humorous and moving anecdotes that give the audience completely new insights into the life of the unforgotten entertainer. He will be accompanied - musically and anecdotally - by genuine companions of the exceptional musician. Alternating performances are planned: The violinists Annette Maurer and Mona Seebohm. Both have accompanied Udo Jürgens on his tours. They will not only enrich the concerts musically, but also provide special moments with their own experiences and reports.

Guests can look forward to an evening full of memories, emotions and great music - a moving and personal tribute to one of the greatest entertainers of our time.

"Very close to the original", wrote the Taunus Zeitung in 2026; the Aller Zeitung raved: "If you closed your eyes, you could have bet that Jürgens himself was sitting at the keys"; the Aachener Zeitung attested: "as if he were on stage in person" - and the Allgemeine Zeitung der Lüneburger Heide wrote in March 2026: "In the style of his great idol, Parker knows how to create a unique, highly emotional atmosphere between himself and his audience in a sympathetic way."
Alex Parker inspires with his extraordinary voice, his virtuoso piano skills and the authentic passion with which he has carried on the musical legacy of this exceptional artist for decades. Even as a young piano student, he was fascinated by the melodies and lyrics of Udo Jürgens, whose joy of life, depth and emotion he appreciated from childhood onwards.
Meeting Udo Jürgens when he was 19 years old was formative for the now 51-year-old. "I was a bar pianist in Braunschweig. Udo Jürgens was in town for a concert and came into our bar, immediately swarmed by many fans, of course. I wondered whether I could dare to play and sing his songs live - and in the end I just did it. Udo then invited me over to his table for a drink. We talked long and hard, very relaxed, almost friendly and on an equal footing. He gave me his address that evening and I wrote him a letter including a demo band, to which he replied by hand that he knew how talented I was and gave me tips for a possible career in the music business. The rest is history."

Mona Seebohm
She has performed with many stars on big stages, sometimes in front of tens of thousands of listeners - including stars such as Herbert Grönemeyer, Mark Forster, Max Raabe, Joe Cocker, Michael Bublé, Toni Braxton, Pur, Rosenstolz, Andrea Berg, Sarah Connor and Udo Jürgens. Mona Seebohm is one of the most extraordinary violinists in Europe.
Classically trained as a child, she gained international orchestral and soloist experience early on before consciously deciding to pursue an artistic path beyond traditional boundaries. Today, she combines virtuoso violin performance with modern sounds, electronic music and visually impressive show concepts - including the globally acclaimed laser violin, whose light and sound productions have made her a sought-after main attraction at exclusive events.
She played the solo violin on the "Udo Jürgens - Einfach ICH" tour in 2009. She still remembers the audition in Zurich in Udo Jürgens' house next to his glass grand piano. After being accepted, Seebohm met Udo again during a major TV show at the Friedrichstadtpalast in Berlin. "I've composed a beautiful solo for you," he told her! It was the great violin solo from the song "Die Schwalben fliegen hoch". During the tour and rehearsal phase beforehand, the broadcaster ARTE filmed a documentary in which, among other things, you can see Udo and Mona going through the "Swallows' Solo" together.
"As the solo violinist, I was allowed to go right to the front once every evening and play the Swallow Solo, always in front of more than 10,000 people," the violinist recalls. "The interaction with the fantastic musicians of the Pepe Lienhard Big Band and Udo on the piano was particularly great. Of course, Udo also performed his famous song 'Ich war noch niemals in New York' every evening and managed to touch me anew with the line: 'Was what? No, what could it be? I also found Udo Jürgens to be the most generous artist I have ever worked with. I am now very much looking forward to the Udo Jürgens Tour 2027 and am grateful for the honor of keeping Udo's legacy alive alongside Alex Parker!"

Annette Maurer (née Mittendorfer)
She completed her degree in Vienna with distinction. Born in Munich, she has since been in demand worldwide as a soloist, with renowned orchestras and in classical and pop music. Her versatility has taken her to countries such as China, Colombia, Japan, Taiwan, the USA, Russia and Ukraine, Israel, Greece, Turkey, Switzerland and India. The clarity of her playing, as well as the emotionality of her performances, creates a special closeness to the audience. In 2003/2004 she accompanied Udo Jürgens on the tour "Long live vice". "My dear Annette, thank you for your playing and your laughter. Your Udo", he wrote to her at the end of the tour. She still raves about this time today: "It was an honor and a pleasure to be on stage with a legend like Udo Jürgens. In keeping with his reputation as a perfectionist, he performed every evening of a long tour with full commitment - that really impressed and motivated me as a musician. Intensive rehearsals with him and the wonderful Pepe Lienhard orchestra created a musical precision that also released a certain magic at the start of the concert - there was a goosebump atmosphere that can hardly be described. Seeing thousands of people connecting their own life stories with Udo's music was moving every night.
Despite his world star status, Udo was approachable. After the shows, there were always moments of exchange in which the person Jürgens came to light - reflective, humorous and always passionate about the music. Being part of Udo's concert world not only allowed me to grow musically, but also remains a memory in my heart with joy and gratitude to this day."

Dominik Beckmann
Probably no one has photographed Udo Jürgens as often as Dominik Beckmann from Munich. He became close to him both professionally and privately and now runs one of the largest Udo Jürgens archives in the world.
As a concert photographer, he accompanies artists such as Sunrise Avenue, Marillion, Gentleman, Ed Sheeran, Lionel Richie, Toto, Peter Maffay and Die Fantastischen Vier on their tours and in front of the camera.
As part of the Udo Jürgens tour, Beckmann will provide pictures that will be exhibited in the foyer of the venues to set the mood for the evening.
