What actually is an adventure? This question probably accompanies everyone who sets off on a journey. Is it the special paths, the encounters that shape us - or the unexpected that awaits us over the next horizon?
Long-term traveler Friedl Swoboda has been dealing with precisely this question for years. He has been on the road with his round-the-world project since 2018 - with around 90,000 kilometers already behind him. In his lecture, he pours the ingredients of his very personal adventure into a general formula and explains what traveling is all about for him: between scenic highlights, emotional descents and moments that can neither be planned nor forgotten.
Based on selected experiences, Friedl takes his audience on a journey full of insights and inspiration. His stories show that adventures are less about distance and more about attitude - and that sometimes you find them when you're not looking for them.
