An evening with poems, texts and music

It has always been one of mankind's greatest dreams: to have peace on earth. This evening is an approach - with poems from Erich Kästner to Erich Fried. The great religions also have their say, as well as North American Indians, a single mother and Jesus. There are words by Kurt Tucholsky (of course), enriched by wisdom from Karl Kraus, Bertolt Brecht and Confucius. And there are also ordinary people. Just not politicians. But Bob Dylan and Marlene Dietrich are.

Bengt Kiene

is a cabaret artist, singer, author and founding member of Hebebühne Hannover. He has been involved in 16 productions there, including "Crunchy Xmas - Christmas for marginalized groups", "Sentimental Journey" and "Mit dem Rücken an der Wand". He also initiated various cultural events at the Pavillon Hannover. At the hinterbuehne, he presented the complete Germany trilogy of his political music cabaret with the programs "Mittenrein!", "Alles bleibt besser - eine Hartzreise" and "Das Krisenfest".
