Singer-songwriter concerts in cooperation with the Werkstatthaus

From June, the garden of the Werkstatthaus will be transformed into a stage for handmade music. Together with the Werkstatthaus, we invite you to an intimate concert series under the impressive Sequoia tree. Singer-songwriters from Stuttgart and other cities will provide a special atmosphere and musical highlights.

For a third time, the Sequoia will be brought to life. This time, the wonderful max françois takes over the stage.

The Stuttgart singer/songwriter max françois moves musically between folk, rock and jazzy chansons. Reduced to the essentials, guitar and voice, his clear and catchy compositions are convincing. In his mostly German songs, he describes, among other things, snapshots, longings and impressions. Between lethargy and anger. Between wanting and having to. Between here and far away. Always in between, always surprising. Enough basis for a varied evening.

The series starts on June 25, 2026 at 7:30 pm and takes place every Thursday until July 23. Free admission, donations are requested. Come along, listen to the sounds and enjoy the unique evening under the spreading branches of the sequoia.
