Singer-songwriter concerts in cooperation with the Werkstatthaus

From June, the garden of the Werkstatthaus will be transformed into a stage for handmade music. Together with the Werkstatthaus, we invite you to an intimate concert series under the impressive Sequoia tree. Singer-songwriters from Stuttgart and other cities will provide a special atmosphere and musical highlights.

For the second concert in the series, Micha Schlüter and Florijan van der Holz will bring the Sequoia to life.

When Micha Schlüter and Florijan van der Holz are on stage together, two very unique lyrical and musical characters mingle and take the listener on an entertaining concert journey, full of everyday, imaginative and sometimes absurd stories. The two singer-songwriters from Stuttgart move between German-language indie, folk and pop. They got to know each other through the Stuttgart Feierabendkollektiv, which has caused a sensation throughout Germany with various festivals and concerts in the singer-songwriter scene.

With varied instrumentation such as acoustic and electric guitar, trumpet, mini-drumset, harp and drum machine, they blend a selection of their own songs into a varied program. From melancholy and reflective to optimistic and upbeat and danceable, their songs have many faces and guarantee a captivating arc of suspense.

The series starts on June 25, 2026 at 7:30 pm and takes place every Thursday until July 23. Free admission, donations are requested. Come along, listen to the sounds and enjoy the unique evening under the spreading branches of the sequoia.
