The German progressive metal virtuosos present their new album at four headline shows

With the aim of bringing the rock'n'roll spirit to progressive metal and putting fun above snobbery, Unprocessed are already the leaders of a new generation of progressive guitar music. The band from Wiesbaden has become world-famous thanks to short videos by their guitarist and singer Manuel Gardner Fernandes on social media. The musicians inspire with their virtuoso music between hard metal riffs, breakdowns and smooth R&B elements as well as pop sounds. Unprocessed not only tear down the boundaries of every genre; they constantly challenge themselves to reinvent themselves and remain progressive in their musical approach. As support for Polyphia, Spiritbox, TesseracT and after performances at festivals such as Rock Am Ring, Euroblast and Summer Breeze, Unprocessed 2024 have become perhaps the most important German prog metal band of the moment, taking complex music to a new level with an unmistakable sound without scaring people off. This fall, the band will be performing live in Hamburg, Munich, Berlin and Frankfurt as part of a headline tour.

Founded in Wiesbaden in 2013, the band's first album "In Concretion" was released in 2014. The EP "Perception" followed in 2016. The Wiesbaden-based band attracted greater attention in 2018 when Unprocessed signed to Long Branch Records and released their full-length album "Covenant". The single "Haven" in particular captivated many fans with its groove-oriented djent sound and atmospheric sounds. The next album "Artificial Void" followed in 2019: "Abandoned" was the next hit and went viral on YouTube. The single "Real", released in 2020, marked a turning point in the band's sound. Together with Tim Henson and Clay Gober from Polyphia, Unprocessed defined a guitar-focused, consistently pop metal sound peppered with synthesizers. In doing so, they set a new musical benchmark, which the musicians continued to follow in the same year with their single "Deadrose". With a major label behind them, the album " Gold ", released in 2022, shows the band at their poppiest and most experimental. On it, "Rain " proves to be the hit of the record due to its dreamy guitar playing and smooth approach, while "The Longing" builds on the metal sound of "Artificial Void" . 2023 sees the release of"...And Everything In Between", the band's fifth full-length album, which is now back on the road independently, which is also reflected in Unprocessed 's carefree sound.

If you've never seen Unprocessed live, you won't believe your eyes - just like Jared Dines, who asked Manuel Gardner Fernandes in 2020 to prove that his videos weren't sped up. His abilities were never in question and were quickly proven by the band's energetic performance in a live context. With their incomparable sound, constantly reinventing themselves and redefining boundaries, Unprocessed are undoubtedly one of the most exciting progressive metal bands of their generation.
