Unser Schmerz ist unsere Kraft

In the organizer's words:

Semiya and Gamze are fourteen and twenty years old when their fathers are murdered by the far-right terrorist cell "National Socialist Underground", or NSU for short. The murders tear them from their previous lives, and the police's prejudgement and the public's lack of interest hit them with full force. In "Our pain is our strength", they talk about the events of that time, but also about how they were able to develop a tremendous strength together that allows them to fight to this day - against forgetting and for a future without exclusion.

The two authors Gamze Kubaşık and Semiya Şimşek and co-author Christine Werner are coming to Munich for the first time to read their book and talk to the audience during the International Weeks against Racism.
