In the organizer's words:

On this day, photographer Anita Schiffer-Fuchs will be presenting a selection of her work in the Ikigai room. The Cologne-based artist is particularly known for her sensitive portraits, including numerous photographs of writers and photographic reportages for newspapers and magazines. Her work is characterized by a special closeness to the people portrayed and combines documentary accuracy with artistic expression.

A recurring theme in her work is social coexistence: in documentary series, she focuses on the realities of migrants' lives, among other things, creating images of great calm and intensity. This sensitive visual language also characterizes the current exhibition, in which she captures everyday moments with a fine sense of light, mood and detail.

The Ikigai room provides a suitable setting for these photographs - calm and concentrated - so that visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the special atmosphere and the multi-layered perspectives of her works.
