Until our Tea Strainer Goes Dry. Performance with tea ceremony

"I invite you to tea, let's talk about it."

Tea plays a central role in East Asian culture and at the same time symbolizes a warm welcoming culture. The act of drinking tea together not only contributes to a welcoming culture for strangers or acquaintances, but also to building a sense of community.

The tea ceremony, performed by artist Iden Sungyoung Kim, is dedicated to the socio-political reappraisal and individual culture of remembrance with regard to people with disabilities. Everyone is cordially invited to take part in the artistic and performative development with a reading about unspoken realities of life and social stigmatization and to exchange ideas.
