Creative repairs and alterations - we save what can be saved!

Forgotten treasures from your closet deserve a makeover: ripped jeans, a stained shirt, a worn collar or a hole in your favorite sweater? In this playful workshop, we'll get to work without restraint - just with scissors, needle and thread, without a sewing machine!

What we will try out:

• Visible Mending: colorful darning or overstitching of holes - turning flaws into eye-catchers.
• Sashiko: Inspired by Japanese art, we strengthen thin areas or patch holes with beautiful, flowing stitches.
• Alterations & embroidery: Alter garments and spice up boring knitwear with creative patterns.

Together we will discover how much fun it is to revitalize textiles. Whether you're a beginner or just starting out - what counts here is free, creative development in a relaxed atmosphere. Materials: I have needles, embroidery thread and fabric scraps here

Please bring along:

• Your garments that you would like to alter or repair. Embroidery threads, fabric remnants and tools are available.
