Upcycling workshop: redesigning clothes with knitted and crocheted elements

Old favorites don't have to disappear into the closet. In this creative upcycling workshop, we give clothes a new lease of life and transform them into unique, individual items. Using simple knitting and crochet techniques, we will redesign sweaters, jackets, T-shirts, jeans and accessories and add personal touches.

Whether colorful appliqués, crocheted pockets, knitted cuffs, decorative inserts or creative embellishments - together we will discover a variety of ways to enhance existing clothing and make lasting changes. The focus is on creativity, experimentation and the conscious use of resources.

The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as for people with some experience in knitting or crocheting. Basic techniques will be explained and individual ideas can be implemented with support.

Please bring along: One or more items of clothing to be transformed. Yarns and tools will be discussed at the first appointment, you are welcome to bring your own or purchase them on site.

Aim of the workshop: To create something new from existing clothing - sustainable, creative and very personal.

Suitable for beginners, basic knowledge required.

We meet 4 times on Wednesdays from 3 to 5 pm. The workshop takes place at Woll Duo, Parkstraße 56 in Düsaseldorf.
The workshop content builds on each other.
