In the organizer's words:
Long awaited: A tour of the mills in Deutz harbor.
Progress is being made at Deutzer Hafen: the green development plan has been drawn up, development of the site has begun, the first architectural competition has been completed and construction site 07 has been put out to tender. A new Cologne district is being created on the right bank of the Rhine based on the integrated plan from the Copenhagen office COBE.
However, the closed exterior of the two mill buildings holds surprises inside, as we will see on our tour of the so-called "white mill".
The visit to the harbor area is intended to give a vivid impression of the future quarter.
Hints: We will not only look around the building, but also the outside area.
The tour of the Auermühle is set up as a safe route, but it is not barrier-free and there is no elevator for the 12 floors.Sturdy shoes (stable soles, no sandals or heels) are required for participation.
In cooperation and with the kind support of moderne stadt GmbH
