In the organizer's words:
The "city within the city", built by the insurance company Gerling in the post-war years, has been given a new look: Exclusive apartments and offices, hotels and a university have found their way into the sometimes spectacular buildings. The round building, the horseshoe building and the high-rise are still or once again the eye-catchers in the district. We take a look at the entire complex, which was planned and realized by various investors, cross the piazza and look at the additional new buildings. In the hotel lobby in the rotunda, we come across original furnishings from the former Gerling ticket hall. And last but not least, we will talk about Hans Gerling and Arno Breker.
