With over 55,000 graves, Melaten is one of Cologne's largest cemeteries. Many celebrities have found their final resting place here. We visit their graves in the dark. Not only the Grim Reaper is interesting.... This guided tour combines the cultural and historical value of Melaten with a nature experience: Cologne expert Bernd Imgrund, art historian Asja Bölke and bat specialist Susanne Roer make this possible.

Like any green space, the cemetery is also home to wild animals in the city: rabbits and bats will show themselves if we are quiet. Perhaps we will also see owls or other birds of prey.
