In the organizer's words:
Street art Ehrenfeld I on foot
With its colorful, lively and creative scene, Ehrenfeld is one of Cologne's most popular districts. Körnerstraße has developed into the shopping street for special things. Cafés, pubs and restaurants of all kinds make Ehrenfeld an attractive address. The spectacular visual highlights also contribute to this - from graffiti to house-high façade paintings in inexhaustible variations, which we find here on walls, house walls and railroad embankments.
On our tour through the district, we pass small-scale street art with a big impact by Joiny or Okse 126, get to know murals by international street artists such as El Pez or Captain Borderline and explore different techniques - with or without outlines and paste-ups. Ehrenfeld also offers a mecca for discussion about what urban art or street art actually is. And what is the difference between works planned with permission and unauthorized messages placed in the urban space?
