Wild herbs are now known as superfoods. Their healing powers for body and soul were once valued in monasteries or by druids and witches, but they were also collected as household remedies. And quite a few of them taste really good.

Come with us into the unspoiled world of wild herbs. On the site of Cologne's oldest settlement, the Bandkeramik settlement, we will find everything that makes a delicious wild herb salad: dandelion, goutweed, nettles, ribwort plantain and ground ivy.

Even if you don't know anything about wild herbs, you can still join in. We go on an excursion together with the head of the wild herb farm. After the excursion, it's up to you whether you eat the harvest in a salad, add it to soup or make soap.
