In the live-action adaptation of the Oscar®-nominated animated adventure, Vaiana answers the call of the ocean and ventures beyond the reef of her home island of Motunui for the first time. Together with the infamous demigod Maui, she embarks on an adventurous journey across the vastness of the sea to secure the future of her people. "Vaiana" was directed by Emmy® and Tony Award® winner Thomas Kail ("Hamilton"). Viewers can experience the stunning sights, sounds and songs of "Vaiana" exclusively in cinemas in July 2026.
