With a lot of imagination, attention to detail and a large portion of passion, the exceptional artists of the GOP show all facets of contemporary variety art - humorous, artistic, artistic and spectacular.

With artistry and entertainment at the highest level, the GOP continues the great variety tradition of the Georgspalast in Hanover. Related to theater and the circus, vaudeville does not require an organized dramatic plot, in the original sense of the French word varieté, which can be freely translated as varied and diverse. The GOP now thrills hundreds of thousands of visitors every year in seven venues throughout Germany - and is also a regular guest in Braunschweig's Bürgerpark.

Driven by society's desire for entertainment and light-hearted get-togethers, the variety show developed out of the public dance halls in the 19th century and has always combined artistic, dancing, acrobatic and musical performances to create a colorful show. Alongside big, multi-award-winning stars, newly discovered newcomers appear on stage time and again.
