The "Bubbles" concert series brings music to the stage that surprises, irritates and inspires - beyond algorithms and habits. Do something good for your ears and let them discover new music: Because bubbles are most beautiful when they burst.

VAVUNETTHA
With a lot of courage and musical talent, VAVUNETTHA speaks in her songs about the status quo
of our society, about stories from all walks of life, all cultures. Already
on her first singles such as "Juwelen" (2023) or "Lakshmi" (2025), the Cologne native with Tamil roots and her producer Christopher Gros show that they can charge a thoroughly modern sound with a wide range of emotions and realize it accordingly. A relaxed beat between trap and boom bap, the singer's deadpan timbre, sometimes slightly autotuned, then clean again with plenty of soul - and again and again these wonderfully vibrant melodies. The debut album "Haus" (2024) is already a mandala of indie pop, hip-hop, ska and Tamil traditional music, with which Vavunettha caused quite a stir in this country. Barely a year later, they followed up with the "Vaikaari" EP (2025), expanding their style to include physical bass and a pronounced danceability and are now considered criminally underrated across the country - and not just in the pages of specialized feature pages.
It is escapism that does not ignore reality. One fan put it in a nutshell under a snippet
point: "Ass shaken to depression". Seasoned Pop is music for the club that is emotionally gripping at the same time. VAVUNETTHA celebrates girlhood and strength, but leaves just as much room for depth and vulnerability.

zawada
In a world of analog sounds resting on a warm synth carpet, catchy vocal motifs guide us through the musical landscape of the artist zawada. The sonic journey of musician Sandra Zawada finds her inspiration in influential artists such as James Blake and Oklou.
The focus is on the search for a harmonious connection between sound and emotion. In combination with familiar forms of pop music, the vocals, alienated by numerous effects, seem like a sonic experiment. They transcend the boundaries of the familiar and create their own unique soundscape.

FUTUREBOI
is sensitive and looks into the abyss. What he sees, he tries to express through music
which is sometimes hip hop, sometimes RnB but also indie. His music reflects him as a person in
in relationship - to himself and to others: Where dissonance arises,
he goes there.
