Intra-actions

Katja Zander works in the space between figuration and abstraction, visibility and perception. She documents encounters, which she develops further in multi-layered oil paintings.

Blurriness is not a deficiency, but a deliberate visual language beyond unambiguity. The quiet moments between encounter and memory become visible like traces in the light. The image thus becomes a poetic resonance chamber for the invisible; for moods and for the infinite frequencies of body, space and time.

We are looking forward to a great vernissage in the loft rooms of the
