In the organizer's words:
The exhibition "spell the colors" is dedicated to the painting "In the studio" by the artist Gustave Courbet. He said of this painting: "Everyone comes to my studio to have their portrait painted." Teichmann takes a similar approach when presenting his new works in the exhibition.
Under the title "spell the colours", the Berlin-based painter brings together a series of works that combine classic themes from the history of painting: a figure on the beach, a stylized equestrian portrait, large-format interior scenes - perhaps that of a collector, perhaps an artist's studio. Without going into detail, Teichmann takes us into an open world of cultural treasures.
