Vernissage: WENN AUS TRAUMA TRÄUME WERDEN

In the organizer's words:

When trauma turns into dreams

It doesn't happen by itself. It takes time. It takes courage.
And sometimes it takes a face that says: I've been there too!
This exhibition is a space for exactly that:
For shame that needs visibility. For emotions for which words are often lacking. For stories that many know and few speak out.
This exhibition shows works that come from the biographical. Psychological crises, generational trauma, inner parts. Not marginal themes. Topics that
most people know and few name.

Because those who suffer trauma often only want one thing: less pain, less chaos, less fear. Those who have to survive cannot dream. The path from there to here has a name: Integration. And dreaming is an act of integration.

jacci.x3 works at the interface of large-format portrait painting and hand lettering. Faces and words are created from the same material: journal entries,
inner processes, the biographical.
