Five years of SALZWASSER VEREIN - we celebrate with you!
For five years, SALZWASSER VEREIN has been committed to the protection of coastal marine ecosystems. That means five years of workshops, camps, exhibitions and movie nights to protect seagrass meadows, algae forests, mangroves, corals and salt marshes. We want to celebrate this with you! From June 26 to 29, 2025 at Kultur&Gut in Hamburg-Altona.
PROGRAM
Regardless of the events, you can learn a lot about our marine ecosystems worth protecting through our exciting exhibits free of charge and without the need for a ticket during opening hours. There is also a great program for our younger guests. In the afternoon, you can screen print your own shirts, jute bags or similar with a great marine motif for a small donation. For the remaining program items, we ask you to book tickets via the respective links. These are either free of charge (depending on the number of participants) or available for a donation. You can find more information on our event page at Rausgegangen.
Exhibition
Our interactive exhibition invites you to discover the world of marine coastal ecosystems - from dense kelp forests and dazzling coral reefs to salt marshes, seagrass beds and mangroves.
A variety of exhibits will show you how these habitats work, why they are so important for the climate and biodiversity - and what threatens them. Models, hands-on stations, information from research and insights into conservation projects make the topic vivid and tangible - for adults, children and anyone who wants to understand the sea a little better. Come along and rediscover the sea!
Family program
Whether you're a big or small sea fan or want to become one - there's something for everyone to discover here!
Our exhibition invites adults and children alike to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of coastal and marine ecosystems. On the ecosystem rally, you can solve puzzles together, gather knowledge and discover surprises. Creative minds can let off steam at the painting corner, craft station, upcycling and screen printing corner. You can transform yourself into sea creatures at the children's face painting (between 2 and 4 pm).
Come along, dive in and experience a day full of the sea and the spirit of exploration - together for the whole family!
