Fancy an exciting movie night? Then come along and immerse yourself with us in the world of blue carbon ecosystems - the real climate heroes under water: seagrass meadows, mangrove forests and salt marshes.
We will be showing the documentary "Blue Carbon", which not only provides incredibly beautiful images, but also shows how the sea helps in the fight against the climate crisis. Together with our expert Michael Sswat from the GEOMAR Ocean Research Center in Kiel, we will talk about the habitats that store CO₂, protect coasts and are extremely important for the balance of our planet. After the film, there will be room for discussion and exchange - with exciting insights from science and marine conservation.
Whether you are already a marine conservation professional or simply curious: the evening is for everyone who wants to be amazed, understand or become an ocean fan.
