Vladyslav Sendecki, longtime pianist of the NDR Bigband, returns to his roots, the energetic American jazz, and celebrates his reunion with the renowned American drummer Ronny Burrage. Bassist Darryl Hall joins the two companions to form a piano trio, the supreme discipline in jazz! Widely recognized for his unparalleled creativity and technical mastery, Sendecki is considered one of the most influential solo pianists of our time. His ability to traverse genres with ease, from jazz to classical and everything in between, sets the stage for an exhilarating musical journey this evening, featuring Ronny Burrage, whose dynamic playing has been heard on stages around the world. In a career spanning decades, Burrage has worked with some of the biggest names in jazz and beyond, and brings all his experience to this performance. Completing the trio is versatile bassist Darryl Hall, whose melodic sensitivity and rhythmic precision provide the perfect foundation for the group's sonic explorations. A master of his craft, Hall's seamless integration of funk, jazz and fusion influences adds depth and richness to the ensemble's sound. Hall won the Thelonious Monk Competition, considered the premier competition for jazz instrumentalists, and together Sendecki, Burrage & Hall create a musical synergy that is nothing short of electrifying. Whether they are reinterpreting jazz standards, delving into original compositions or engaging in spontaneous improvisations, Sendecki, Burrage & Hall are always pushing the boundaries of what is possible in music.
