Vode & SISTAHH: Chordoppel-Konzert

SISTAHH, the Ladies Pop Choir from the Hanseatic city, invites VODE to a joint double concert to perform the finest pop and jazz vocal music in one of Hamburg's most beautiful churches!

VODE is a young ensemble dedicated to a cappella pop & jazz. The choir was formed in 2021 from the "Pop-Up" group at Detmold University of Music and is a reunion of former students who now live all over Germany. They come together for project phases to work on their repertoire and give concerts. Under the artistic direction of Katharina Gärtner and Simon Herten, Vode captivate audiences with their multi-faceted sounds and sophisticated arrangements with a wide stylistic range. In addition to music at full choral strength, they also leave room for smaller ensembles, which make their concerts particularly colorful.

SISTAHH, the 26 sisters from Hamburg, sing sometimes with and sometimes without a band, but always from the heart. With tailor-made arrangements and their energetic performance, they demonstrate a close bond on a musical and human level. Their repertoire ranges from moving ballads by artists such as Yebba and Sarah Bareilles to groovy numbers by Celeste or P!nk. This diversity gives their concerts a unique dynamic and turns them into varied, joyful events.
