is a community of young, creative minds from Berlin. The collective was founded in 2022 and now has over ten young adults from a wide range of backgrounds working together to promote collaborative creativity.

The VoiceChangers the choir with singers who switch from a boy's voice to a man's voice We introduce: The VoiceChangers is a choir from Berlin with boys and young men - and their name says it all: they sing in this choir from the beginning of the voice change. They all learned to sing in the children's choir of the Deutsche Oper Berlin (DOB) and sang the children's chorus roles in many operas on stage there. How long have the VoiceChangers been singing: This group started with 6 boys in 2013 at the Deutsche Oper Berlin under the direction of Rosemarie Arzt and has grown to a group of around 30 members. An interest in singing was and is instilled in the boys from an early age and they can continue this with the "VoiceChangers". This "new" voice, which is changing into a man's sound, is given special attention through careful exercises and vocal training.

What do the VoiceChangers sing: All of them are well trained in polyphonic singing through the DOB children's choir and sing a cappella male choir literature from classical to pop with their "new" voices from around the age of 13. Once their voices have stabilized, they all sing in the DOB's young choir (SATB). a cappella pieces are predominantly part of their own program: (selection) -Pop songs: California dreaming / Mad world / Ich wär so gerne Millionär (Die Prinzen)/ Mambo (MayBeBop)/ Junge (Die Ärzte) / Love of my life (Queen) / Wochenend und Sonnenschein/ HausamSee(PeterFox)/etc. Film music: Wir machen Musik / Titelmelodie James Bond / Two and a half men / etc. Classical male choirs from all eras: Am Brunnen vor dem Tore / Lorelei / Frisch gesungen / Heidenröslein / Der Linden- baum / Tourdion / a cappella version Unvollendete Sinfonie von Schubert/ etc. What is special about the VoiceChangers: there are only a few choirs like the VoiceChangers in the German-speaking world. The children's and youth choir of the Deutsche Oper Berlin was a pioneer with this program. They are regularly invited to perform and take part in special events. They have frequently performed in the foyer of the DOB, on the side stage "Tischlerei" and on the main stage, and have often been heard in the Zitadelle Spandau, in church concerts, at Christmas concerts and on the main stage.
