Wonderful double concert: the Afro-disco sounds of VOILAAA meet the music of Diogo Strausz, who in turn combines influences from jazz and samba. It will be groovy, soulful, funky and also a little dreamy.

Behind VOILAAA is Bruno "Patchworks" Hovart from Lyon, a busy producer who doesn't stick to one musical style or pseudonym. In 2015, he launched VOILAAA, an Afro-disco project on the Favorite Recordings label that focuses on African and Caribbean influences and their connection with disco. As everywhere in the 70s and 80s, the funk and disco movements were very influential in these regions. VOILAAA combines musical traditions from Mali, Ghana or Jamaica with funk and disco from the USA and takes us back to the 70s in Lagos or Abidjan. The result is a funky patchwork of sounds - colorful, cosmopolitan and full of humor. The VOILAAA Sound System is the collective that brings this furious mix to the stage in the spirit of "Notting Hill". Uptempo, party-ready and cheerful.

Diogo Strausz is a Brazilian producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who currently lives and works between São Paulo and Paris. His first EP "Flight of Sagittarius" was released in April 2022. "Flight of Sagittarius" is a melting pot of sounds and sounds retro and contemporary at the same time. Located somewhere between the old-school boogie of Marcos Valle, the jazz-funk of Azymuth, but also the sunny groove of Nu Genea or the electro-funk productions of Guts. Diogo is also known as part of the duo Balako and has produced Brazilian indie artists such as Castello Branco and Alice Caymmi.
