Spring will soon be here, people will be leaving their homes and going outside again - and the Volksshow will get you ready for the world outside: all the important topics presented in a compact and entertaining way by host Moritz Hürtgen, plus refreshing and abysmal texts and comics by Carla Kaspari and Hannes Richert. After 90 minutes, you'll be ready for long months of socializing! Come one, come all!

Carla Kaspari is an author and writer based in Cologne. She publishes essayistic, fiction and humorous texts in newspapers, magazines and on the Internet. Kaspari also writes texts for various screenplay and TV formats. In 2022, her debut novel "FREIZEIT" was published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch. Her second novel "Das Ende ist beruhigend" was also published there in 2025.

Hannes Richert sleeps, relaxes and draws in Berlin. His cartoons, known from "Titanic", "Zitty", "tip Berlin", "Stern" and "Taz", among others, regularly cost viewers their brains. The health insurance companies are considering taking action against his publications. Richert comes up with his best ideas at the big table in the casino.

Presenter

Moritz Hürtgen, *1989 in Munich, works as a columnist for the satirical magazine Titanic and Apotheken Umschau. He stubbornly refuses to have a regular job. He is presenting the third season of the popular show this season.
