In the organizer's words:
Lignite mines, excavated sites, the environmental movement, new landscapes and tourism - the hike between Lake Störmthal and Lake Markleeberg, accompanied by contemporary witnesses, retraces the creation of Leipzig's New Lakeland. The highlight will be the ascent of the Cröbern central landfill site. From there you have a good all-round view of the development of the last 30 years. In cooperation with Bergbau-Technik-Park e.V. and DOKMitt e.V.
