Von Fallen und Steigen – Ein visuelles Konzert im Liegen

Of falling and rising - a visual concert while lying down
What did I think when I fell? How did I feel when I disappeared? What happens at the limits of our consciousness - when falling and rising? In the Christianskirche, composer Samuel Penderbayne, together with live illustrator Bahar Roshanai, soprano Sophia Körber and Henriette Zahn on the grand piano, attempts to give shape to what disappears and emerges - in sounds and images.
Von Fallen und Steigen is a cooperation project between Samuel Penderbayne (composition), Christianskirche, Kulturforum21 der Schulen im Erzbistum Hamburg and altonale. The audience is invited to look upwards and downwards. We give shape to what disappears and emerges - in sounds and live illustrations.
Please bring a surface, e.g. a sleeping mat! A few deckchairs are available on site. As a supporting program, a participatory, audiovisual installation will be shown in front of the church, which was developed with pupils from the Kath. Schule Blankenese and to which the audience is also invited to make contributions and provide thoughts.
Price information:
A ticket is required for this event. If the event is not fully booked or tickets have not been redeemed up to 15 minutes before the start of the event, you will have the opportunity to buy these tickets at the Box Office. In order to give as many people as possible access to art and culture, we have set up a pay-what-you-want ticket: Everyone pays as much as he/she can and likes.
