Slow Club Freiburg & ByteFM & dq agency present:
VOODOO BEACH
Voodoo Beach are schooled in the deep noise rock of the 1990s, with distortion and a hard attack, but without leaving out the quiet, ecstatic interludes, which are more of a dream journey. Voodoo Beach thus join the ranks of the loose context of German-language rock bands of the last ten years, finding good company in Nerven, Gewalt, Friends Of Gas, Culk and Co. The deep, ripping bass comes from John-H. Karsten, who also writes the lyrics, the drums are played by Josephine Oleak, and the aforementioned Heike Rädeker sings an everyday existentialism on the electric guitar that is quite something.
Dining Dolphins
Improvisation is at the heart of the Dining Dolphins. Before a performance, nobody knows what will happen in the next 1-2 hours. Only the goal is certain: electrifying psychedelic music with a lot of experimentation and dance quality. Somewhere between cold new wave, heavy psychedelic rock and groovy four-to-the-floor, they have found their sound and made themselves at home on the dance floors in the area.
Admission: 9 pm
The club will be smoke-free during the concerts.
